If I’m being honest, I’m not one for putting my past and feelings out into the open- a lot of people struggle to share their emotions and what they're going through- me being one of them. Ever since I was little, I’ve always enjoyed the art of writing… stringing together letters and words to make something that make you FEEL. Nowadays, mental health is now becoming a more popular and more “well-known” topic of conversation. To me, its great… speaking about our feelings and letting others know they're not alone is a beautiful thing. Now I know there are tons of mental health blurbs all over the internet and new books published all the time about how to live with a mental illness. Naturally, it’s never as easy as they make it seem. It makes me think, you know… if these big-shot authors are getting all the readers, why should I even try? Who wants to read about a 16 year old girl whos lived and breathed mental illness and what she has to say about it. Frankly, I don't know, but if it can help someone and make them feel less alone in the lives or mind, then I feel like my time and talent is well spent. Ill continue to write on here for anyone who may need a reminder that, its not going to be easy- but you can pull through.
